Lyzira, I didn't know where to post this cause the forums are for lin1, but is there any news you can give us about Lineage 2 being released for the mac? I haven't been able to find any info on it so I figured I would ask here instead.

At this moment in time, I know of no plans to bring Lineage 2 to the mac. I will verify this next week though since I'm temporarily sharing an office with someone on the L2 team.

We recently brought City of Heroes / City of Villains to the mac but that was done by our studio in California, instead of the folks over at NC Korea.

It is a cider port, means there was no separate development like Lineage 1. L2 could get ported the same way, but would such port gain new customers or just shift existing customers from one game to another?

A similar problem face Apple currently with the new Mac Mini that is on hold till the stocks are sold. A Mac Mini with a 3d graphic chip would be a alternative to a tower machine and would probably lead to loosing sales on the tower machines in favor of the cheaper Mac Mini.

CoH/CoV differ from the Theme to medieval settings like Lineage 1. But Lineage 2 could make customers move.

However, back the time a customer move from L1 to L2 was expected in Korea and it didn't happen. Hard to say. 3d looks fancy but fanciness isn't everything. But in the NCA Area L1 never gained the presence as it have in Korea or China.

Lyz will we see any marketing actions regarding Lineage 1?

Yeah it did... not to a majority switch, but if you look at the subscriptions, when L2 came out almost 1/2 lin1 went to lin2... lin2 it actually gained them almost no new customers, because 90% of the ppl that played lin2, played lin1 before.

I wonder what the effect whould be here.

Personally I would like to see L1 gain more subscriber. More subscriber would lead to a better hosting I think.
