View Full Version : Text-alignment Re-examined

I recently discovered that the text alignment while using the Korean language setting on the client has the text properly aligned. The characters are larger in size and I believe this may explain why text alignment for Roman alphabet is improper.
I submitted a ticket to support to make sure they knew about this, but they told me to reinstall Lineage.
I'm confused, when I selected but-report shouldn't thave have clued them in that I wasn't really seeking support?
Anyway, I'm posting it here instead.

So that would explain how this guy types so much in one line? http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/4879/howthehelldoeshetypesomuchey1.jpg
I have also seen someone on ken type all spaces on the first line, and then the second line is all spaces till the VERY end of the line, and then there is some text there. When I tried to reproduce it I couldnt.

I don't see the connection.
Although the client only allows up to 52 characters in the input, the server likely accepts more. Under that presumption it is likely that this is accomplished using a hacked client or third-party program.

Now if we could get someone from NC Soft to take a look at that picture and tell us if it is legitimately possible to type so much or not... it would really help in nailing that sucker.

For the part of korean clients being more aligned this maybe so but on a pc i havent noticed anything wrong lately so maybe just a mac bug. i havent used my mac for so long that i dont even wanna start it up and install just to check.
As far as the extra words being typed i dont know how to explain it. i know that most korean words when typed take multiple roman keyboard input to create the word. as in tkfkdgo = a 3 character korean word/phrase what ever it is. cant quite remember. the same applies to chinese.
also some 3rd party programs have an option for auto text(how bots respond to monitors) now im guessing if there is a trigger to make them talk when whispered it can also be made to spam and i doubt the programs used have the same limit as the client. so they input the text directly to the data sent to the server and its shown as its typed into the program.
