Help with lineage program

I just reformated my pc and reinstalled windows. After installing Lineage i get io the select server screen then the game just closes. I dont get any sort of error, anyone experience this before?

Go install DirectX 9.0.

that will usually fix the problem since u did reformat.

If that doesnt work, reinstall your video card drivers.

I did both and now i can get to the character select screen, then lineage crashes. No warning message no fatal error it just crashes. Any suggestions?

What version of Windows are you running on?

Also, at the top of this page is a "support" button.

They're pretty good at fixing install problems...

Windows XP home, service pack 2, i got all the updates for it (i think ill check again tonight when i get home).

Ill try support but in all honesty i dont trust them. Usually the community is a lot more knowlegable.

Thank you for your help roo but i have no problem connecting with the server. I can get to the character select screen with no problem but when i double click one of my characters the game closes. No messages, it just closes.

This occurs with any character you try? What class are they? Are you able to try creating a new character?

This happens with every character, every server game just closes on me. Im with contact with support so it will hopefully get fixed today.

Yep i reinstalled everything, updated all the drivers and downloaded from ep3 (ep 4 had errors whenever i downloaded) thank you everyone for all your help :)
