is test server getting a new ip address ?
maintaince is gonna last for a full 48hrs ?

Test is moving with the rest of them - the maintenance only lasts till 11pm, but the DNS propagation could take potentially up to 48 hours. Most people should be able to hit the servers much quicker than that, though.

ummm read....it will be down for 11 hours to move the servers..after that some people may have log-in problems for up to 48 hours

correct..nomad said once they are known they will be posted in knowledge base and then linked on the boards

If you post the IP's tho everyone can connect to the servers, the DNS is only for translating the hostname to a IP.

if people change the ip manually..some people dont get how to do that and end up waiting for the dns to change it and come here screaming on the boards cuz they cant connect..i think the 48 hour post was just some info before people start screaming they cant connect later

i'm over in florida and i don't have the ip in my shortcut, but had no trouble connecting to the new ip already.
