More Tests and a new video from Test!

More things to check out regarding spell damage, stat effects, and the CHA requirement for summons as well as a new video of a Mini-GM Event put on by Frosty and Jetzen are now available! Lots of work was put into these to help the community. So please enjoy them and put them to good use!

STR stops giving bonuses at 47STR? lame....

For DEX though, I'm curious about the AC stat system now, because it doesn't seem like 18DEX gives -3ac anymore. Do you know anything about this?

You will notice that there is a progression.

18 Dex is not simple +3 AC. The AC is a formula bassed on your level and your Base Dex.
As for Dex 18 it is Level/4 rounded down.

Cool video by the way. What where the drops on floor? Especial the 2h swords?

Most of them were just drops like 2HS. There was a Soul of Flame if you look at one of the SS in the beginning as well as a Sword of Girtas (I was told Frosty killed Jetzen who dropped it upon death). There were some SBs like Destroy as well. But for the most part it was great to see things like that. I think the GMs should come on and do these types of events every now and then.

I will reenable the Sword of Girtas then. I was told once that it is LiTo only by a GM, but it seems not. I wonder what is about the Staff of Girtas then?

Did the girtas sword get picked up by a gm or did a player get it? Would love to see the real damage that thing can do on a level 70 str knight lol.

Betcha that thing would hurt like heck. Also, 47 str would really really hurt. Dex adds to melee damage as well or no? If not the at least it adds to melee hit. Are there many str/dex knights out there? I might try to make a str/dex... hmmm. Thanks for the updated tables Conal

Not sure, I wasn't there personally but HiMeWiKia was. She made the video that is posted up there. I am just telling you what i was told hehe. They might have dropped it on the ground to show it off though.

Conal, do you know if the stat bonuses can continue past 50STR, or is 50STR as high as it gets? Could you get more dmg bonuses for getting up to 60STR? (even though 47STR does the same dmg as 50STR...)

I dont know. But I think yes, if getting this high is possible.

Let's see:
35 from stat, 5 from Str Spell, 2 from Power Gloves, 1 from Beleth Boots, 1 from Souv Cloak, 2 from Red Curse Amy, 2 from MummyCrown, +1 from Armor of Baranka, +1 Ring of Ancient Giant

Thats 50. Only available slot is Shield.

I dimly recall a shield that gave strength? Does anyone have a Idea?

Edit: Red Knight sword is useable by Royal.
Soooo MrFish, I heard you where volunteering to test str 51 to see if there is a difference to 50?

Edit 2: I just realized that I mixed Knight/Royal only items. Sorry. Seems Str 50 isn't doable yet.

This isn't quite right. I didn't test all stats, but I am sure that the mr bonus given by WIS (on test) isn't the same as the chart you posted. I made a 28 base WIS DE and it has the same mr as a 24 WIS DE. So, it looks like it is the same as we get on live atm.

That is lame, cause I think we didn't get the update for the effect of the stat, like the other servers got. Personnaly, I think it's a bug...

Im just the messenger so I am not positive on the stats but I saw that I had pretty much the exact same MR at 28 wis that i did at 24 wis. I had to do the spell dmg test being the test subject on my DE. I believe i only had about 3 or 4 MR points fewer than at 28.

Sorry, but I don't think so.

Trojes chart is identical to the chinese one. There is no way that they could have missed a further MR gain after Wis 24 in the last 12 months.

There an intentional max cap at +50MR.
Seems that Wis after 24 is more for mana classes, not for MR.

oh 50STR is extremely doable. I only need 3 more lvls to obtain it. my ultimate goal is 55STR. I'll hit that eventually, just wait and see
