The claw is black mith and have a bad to hit modifier. But it have a special attack that do double damage like a Edo. The chance for the Proc is very high.

Over all the weapon is not to bad. That is all I know.

Hmm. I didnt think about the crit part. I guess I didnt see the distinguishing part of it but a claw that can do double damage is quite a bit of damage.

Anybody tested this claw against a kclaw/kedo bclaw/bedo? I may have to purchase one.... Thanks Conal

Does black mithril have a bonus effect like normal mithril?

During the event there were blessed and normal claws dropped. Did the blessed ones drop from certain monsters or did the monsters that dropped normal ones also dropped blessed ones?

I cant figure out why this store in GTV has an un-id one. I would love to know if it's blessed but I think they know it's not. How would they know without id'ing it?

Correct made of Black Mith. So safe enchant to +0.

Yes Black Mith does damage to undead same as silver/mith/ori to my understanding.

The proc is rare, but it appears to be in addition to the normal crit. My +0Purgclaw has ended owl elmore gen in one hit (and i'm wisdom de) many times. (keep in mind i use all de buffs at all times hunting also)

The minus tohit is a downer, but if your a higher level it shouldn't mess you up much.

All the PurgClaws on server currently came from event, the same mops dropped blessed and not blessed. There is no way to know if one is blessed or not without id scroll. I have not seen a Blessed Claw of Purgatory, i'd bet it isn't blessed, but could be.

Personally i prefer my Devil's Claw.

Meh I bought it. It wasnt blessed, dern it. It crits a lot though, at least more than my bclaw. You say besides the normal claw crit it has another proc? I havent seen a proc animation or anything unless its the same as the claw crit. I'm confused I think.

My +7b-bclaw killed oren stuff much faster than the purg claw QQ

Some guy in gtv has a +5 claw of purg for sale, looks like that weapon would surely do a lot of damage?

I was told that Black Mith don't do extra damage to undead. So it nails down to the enchantment and stats of the weapon and with +7 the bclaw have an advantage. Question is, does the purgatory crit even the field out on the long run? Also we don't know how blessed weapons work currently. Back in time did blessed more damage to undead and demon. Later the ingame help stated only demon and with last patch it says that silver, mith and Ori give damage to undead and only Mith and Ori give extra damage to Demons.

Problem with the ingame help is, that we are contend wise far behind. I think the helpfiles where from a newer version of the game and I think we see some changes in the mechanics with the next patch.

Try the weapon on undead, demons, elementals and living creatures. Especial fire/water elementals and of course living things. If you have metals of light in game that hurt undead or/and demons, then why not a metal of darkness that hurt the living to? Just a fancy thought.

That makes sense. What monsters are considered "light" enemies though?

When you id a baphomet armor it says it is strong against light/beam magic and I know people were trying to figure out what that meant but I dont know if anybody ever got an answer. I know in a future update a new dark/light dragon will be in the game, does that mean then that black mith will actually do something?
