I didn't even notice that Nyx was a word that the puzzle maker generated . I used the puzzle maker at http://puzzlemaker.discoveryeducation.com/ to generate the puzzle. It is designed for teachers so it makes sure that no inappropriate words are accidentally generated (I used to use it to make puzzles for my classroom long ago, in a galaxy far away, when I was a science teacher )

I didn't notice that Blue came out as Plue either. I went back to the original puzzle and it was spelled correctly. However, I had to crop the original jpeg puzzle to take off the word list (that would be too easy!) and when I cropped I just used Paint instead of Photoshop. It saved as a poor quality which caused some slight pixel loss. If you look closely at the Plue, you can see that it doesn't look like a B, but it also doesn't look the same as the other true P's in the puzzle.

These games are still new and remember that we will be having them regularly so there will be lots of chances to win! Suggestions and feedback are welcome. Next regularly scheduled contest will be another round of Creative Caption Craziness this Friday!

I dunno, according to the lin library list, there is a plate mail, and there is a leather vest, but I guess it's up to Nyx on that one.
