Coming Soon - Pouch of Gold St Patricks Day Event

As promised, we will be having a new in-game event soon!

Our Pouch o' Gold St Patrick's Day Event will feature double probability of drops and all monsters have a chance to give you your own "pouch o' gold." There will also be a surprise to go with the KG ring!

Items you can obtain include:

• Consumables
• Gems
• Blessed Adena
• A lucky few will receive a Crystal of Bravery!

The event will begin Wednesday, March 17th after normal maintenance and run until maintenance the following Wednesday, March 24th.

Now by "all monsters" do you really mean A L L monsters or all mainland? I ask because most of us hunt dungeons and places like that and we were told "all monsters" before and it ended up being mainland only! XD.

But maybe a 2x exp event would be nice on top of it all, i could get my royal im lvling to 52 maybe o.o. Spring break next week woot woot.

Can you also make 2x spawn rate part of the event too? it would be greatly appreciated by EVERYONE.

One of my friends in-game brought up that maybe some of the ingredients for lvl 2 food, some of those 15minute poly scales (or a poly event!), and maybe the ice queen crystals used to upgrade the earrings should come from the bags. I thought those were pretty good ideas and passed them along here o.o.

Jetzen is putting together a nice little list of goodies to go in the pouches. He spent today scouring the items list looking for both fun items but more importantly useful items that you guys will like GMNyx intends to spend quite a bit of time on the servers during the event making sure the bots are not the ones profiting from the event. (polished up the old ban hammer this afternoon )

Since the theme is a lucky sort of St Patrick's Day thing, double xp will not be added. We will be testing the event on PTS, so everyone is invited to help us troubleshoot this week before the event goes live.

Yes we do mean all monsters, like we did with the Halloween Event where all monsters could drop pumpkin seeds (the pouches will not be as rare as the seeds!)

Yay looks like pouches will be pretty common in terms of hunting for event items lol. Thanks for clearing that up for us and thanks for scouring for items that are useful and that we will like!

Oh and Sarah, I "played" FF13 for 2 hours yesterday. Needless to say, 3/4 of that was cutscenes o.o

Beavis - bow elves get no love. There were no new bows in the new epi crafting list.
Hopefully, the crystals will be tradable/sellable.

Great to have a St. Paddy's Day event though! They could have just called this the Red Branch BP event, since my pledge emblem is already an Irish Flag! And 2x drops is always welcome - but even more so now that drops are so much lower (of course, some mops rarely drop anything, and no longer drop adena, so 2x zero is still squat). And if nothing else, its a motivator to increase my playing time, so its all good. :-)
