Lore: Sanctuary of Evil

This is a draft for the Sanctuary of Evil. The informations come from NPCs and retranslation of the original Texts to iron out some old translation errors. Even I am currently taking english lesions, the text will probably have some errors. If the entry is ok that way, it would be great if someone could polish it up some.

A entry for the grave guardians is in the pipe as well, but there is a translation problem with the Devils Shackles. If I understand the lore correct, the shackles control the Guardians to serve the Undead fraction as guards. The name Devils Shackles is somewhat misleading. Can someone tell me how they are called in the korean version of the game?

Sanctuary of Evil:
The origin of this temple lies in forgotten in the past. The historian Shaimon stated once, that the temple belongs to the firstborns, who are also known as Ancient Giants. Shaimon claimed further, that some of the Ancient Giants are still alive, trapped there by a entity called Tarak. An attempt to free the Ancient Giants with the help of a golem army failed.

Some years ago a Dark Elf called Hellvine was, on order of his leader Dantes, meeting with the undead forces. The result of this meeting lead to the assault against the kingdom of Aden, known as the Lastavard Invasion.

Nowadays the place serve as battleground between the minions of the Demonlord Varlok and the Undeadruler Yahee. Enslaved golems and Lastavard emissaries guard the place to prevent intrusion from the surface.

its funny, cause description really gives no information or story on how it got to be how it is, lol... like how teh flk varloks boys got there... would apear it was ancient giants temple, then tarak came from somewhere and took it over/enslaved the giants then... either the ancient giants or some unknown force atempted to take it from tarak with a golem army and failed. Then hellvine met with tarak and agreed to invade aden for some unknown reason and then finally varloks minions materialized at some point because they don't like tarak and fight him there now... so very vague and lacking in explenation haha.

So does this make Tarak the devil, so the devil's shackles are more like Tarak's shackles that he puts on critters to make them do his bidding?

Shadowflame and Corruption are Yahee and Tarak. I know those two Boss names due a goggle reverse translation of a Chinese fansite site. While hunting there and talking to the NPCs, I did slowly add one and one together. Like the 6 dagons, the undead and demons are offsprings of Shilen. (Lineage 2 Lore)
I think most, if not all, of the L2 Lore is valid for us as well. But it dont explain why Yahee and Varlok are fighting. It is possible that Varlok is unhappy seeing his minions been raised to server Yahee.

I believe that the Devil Shackles are an odd translation like "evil sorcerer" is for the undead.
