Question Change in Fire Valley..?

I was spending some time leveling some pups in Fire Valley this evening and experienced something odd. I happened upon two poison traps to the right and left of location 33703 32293. Is this a result of some fixes done to the cell issues in Fire Valley or..?

I remember when I first started playing this game years ago, FV had posion traps.

ya they fixed the cells by putting the poison traps back in

actually the poison traps were the problem with bounce back... they put them back in but wouldn't let you step on them. If you detected when you got bounced back the traps would all pop and you could see why you were getting bounced back.

ya i noticed that to id bounce back and did dect and poisen was there yesterday...

Well, even old players like me learn something new now and then. I was never aware that there were poison traps in Fire Valley back in the day. I'm a mac player and avoided FV like the plague due to lag issues. I finally played in FV after Conal posted a fix involving a sound file. By then, poison traps were not active to my knowledge.

same here, i do remember the traps in fv, but i didnt hunt FV much cause I too was a mac player, spent most of my time in owl.

Does it still do that? I use a mac and it seems fine to me. I never have background music on though

They should add voice overs for our characters. Like if my Knight does shock stun she should say, "Stay down!" Or my mage casts destroy, "I shall smite thee!".

Oh and when you use escape scrolls, "Yoink!"

Oh and if an elf successfully casts ebind on you, "Pants on the ground!"
