Default stat reroll/elixir

When we got our elixir from the event the lvl requirement was lvl 45 or above. So how come we dont have the option to add our elixir in at lvl 45 before we reach lvl 51 or above? Why MUST we wait til the end to add in our elixir(s)? I should have the right at lvl 45 to add my elixir before reaching to lvl 51.

His character is level 51. Since adding elixers (when using candle) comes after your last stat addition, he is wondering why he can't add it earlier than 51.

Think about people that have multiple elixers which they got at level 52, 57, 65, etc.. should they be allowed to use all of them at level 45? You don't have it so bad since you're only 51.

Good point. I'm actually way above 51, i was just using that number as an example. However since you said ppl got elixirs at different lvls why should "everyone" wait to the end to add them? Why couldnt nc give the option to the player to use there elixir at the level they were when it was obtained(excluding the event elixir). I'm mostly refering to the event elixir, IMO that should have been an option to be used at lvl 45 when doing the stat reroll for the ppl who participated.

If the program is not written to remember at what level you use elixir, then there is nothing they can do to verify at what level you use it. If it does remember that, then it probably remember the type of elixir you are using. So do you want to give up the option of using elixir toward any point you want for using it at the level you want?

I think the point he is trying to make is that lvl 45 is the required lvl at which you can use an elixir. I can see where his train of thought is going. Wouldn't you get different bonuses earlier if you had that stat point added 6 lvls earlier than was allowed in reroll? It makes sense.

i think you need treat the reroll as a bonus. You always have the choice not to reroll.

Lets see.

The rolls on the General Table for Con can be 0-x. If the elixir is used as con and he would apply it on 45, it would make +1 to the random max roll. Lets say it raise the HP Gain Roll from 0-2 to 0-3. Lets assume he is now level 65, so he lost his precious bonus for 20 levels.
We argue about 0-20 hp. The real difference for this will be around 9.5hp, if he is level 65. Wis/Mana works the same way.

We got way more Mana and Life now, so I think 9,5hp average isn't worth the fuss.

Who said i wanted to add it to con or wis? Maybe i wanted to add it to str or dex or int. The sooner i get 18 dex the sooner i get more ac.

My point is the lvl requirement to use the event elixir was lvl 45 and we should have had the right to use it at lvl 45, not "last".

The only stats that aren't retro-active are con and wis.

It doesn't matter if you have get 4 more dex, strength, int or charisma from elixers at 45 or at 90, the effect is exactly the same.
