We are in production of Season 3 currently. Drop of all mops will be reconsidered. This is in NO WAY a promise that drop rates will change (just gotta be totally clear about that). We are evaluating. We have heard your feedback and we play the game too. I cannot make any promises for outcomes, but we are listening to you. We do not yet have a timeline to share for Season 3, but hopefully within the next week or so, we should be able to at least begin to talk more about Season 3, share screenshots, and discuss tenative timetables.

Thanks... The feedback is appreciated.
I just have to say this: "When I restarted playing, one of the best parts of playing this game again were the LoA ruleset drops. I can't stress enough how much that made me enable my new NC account. One of the best things was the griffon dropping diamonds. I still enjoyed it every time before the last update. It was funny. I liked that. I like having 100's of diamonds in storage for a rainy day. I remember the harsh drops from before the LoA ruleset. I remember empty mop. If I did not have two lvl 49 characters right now, I would not be able to justify paying for this game. It is not as much fun without the better drops. And, without a few million in storage and the ability to attain the supplies needed for hunting, I would not be able to pay for this game. It would be too frustrating. And when my adena is gone, so will be my cash. It's just not fun to toil forever without rewards. The cool drops make this game fun and allow me to justify paying for it." |

Will new players enjoy the intial grind...? I don't believe so. As it is, I have seen several new players show up and leave. I could have even sworn I saw you yourself post elsewhere that consumable drops need to be upped. That's a change in the drop rates. Isn't it? I think most will agree that the drop rates need to be changed. I do not see anyone advocating boss type drops on goblins. That would be senseless. But should goblins drop more reds? In small quantities... maybe so. If a new player can craft/get better armor and hunt... they will play [pay]. If a new player can't even get out of town for more than a couple minutes at a time, they won't want to play [pay]. |
