Chronic pain?

I was on another forum talking about something personal and somebody mentioned some things people who suffer from chronic pain do because some are disabled and at home and somebody mentioned playing games/mmos.

This got me thinking. Does anybody here suffer from chronic pain that has/hasnt been diagnosed and being treated by a pain doc? I am primarily wondering because I was in the military and suffered traumatic spinal injury and because of this am suffering from chronic pain. My pain is monitored by a few different offices and they take care of me pretty well.

If anybody suffers from chronic pain or has a close loved one who does please post here if you dont mind it being out in the open or PM me. I just wanted to compare and see if maybe you/they may have experiences or different treatments that worked well/not well. We may have information to share that can help others or each other.

It has been awhile and there is new activity on the forums so I figured I would ask again.

I ask because if there are people who suffer I may have some knowledge that can point them in the right direction. I've helped many people and some have come to tears because they didnt know where to go or who to talk to and they were so relieved after I gave them my story and information.

So please lemme know if you need help or guidance, I will be happy to share anything I know to help. Tah-tah!

P.S. If you are embarrassed then just PM me. I promise what we speak about stays between you and I unless you want me to ask my Doc for his opinion on the matter. My doc is cool like that, he lets me call his cell whenever I need something lol. I'm spoiled QQ

Edit: If your asking yourself why I'm posting this on a gaming forum it's because it was brought to my attention people who suffer from pain and who may stay home all day tend to play online games and such. I've met 2 other people who have had a similar experience as mine so I know that the statement is true.

Since I posted this I've had positive communication with people in game who have been able to get help or at least be more informed.

I have recently gone through a living nightmare with my health condition and am recovering from it right now. It took me out of commission for about a month.... ugh, I hope I never go through that again.

Anyway, because of this past month I've learned a lot more about chronic pain and more newer treatments and would love to help anybody who feels they need it.

My invitation stands and I will always answer you as quickly as possible. I promise to remain completely secretive and to help at the best of my ability. Since I posted this thread months ago I've been contacted by 5 people and was happy to hear their stories and was very happy to help them. They all have been able to go into their doctor's office better informed and thus was able to get a better result for their treatment.

Please dont cheat yourself, if you are in pain and dont know where to turn or what your next step or even first step should be please PM me and I can try to do my best to share my knowledge and experiences. No pressure, just know that somebody here can help and is willing

If you are talking about mine then thanks. If you are talking about Yahee's then I'm out of the loop because I cant see it's sig as it is on my exclude list. Usually anything that comes out of it's mouth is useless and a waste of time to read QQ
