The Dead Shall Rise
Was Friday the 13th unlucky for you? Hopefully the day didn't cause you too much pain, but I think we can ease it a little bit for you if it did.
In true Friday the 13th style, the dead shall rise again! Anyone who died a non-PVP death will have all experience restored to them during this Wednesday's maintenance. This will apply to all deaths that occurred on Friday so if it was one of your unluckier days, we hope that this will help make it just a little bit better. Didn't die on Friday? Keep in mind we have a double experience extended weekend coming up at the end of the month. Thank you!

well holy hornswagle, my isp on friday.. and accually all this weekend was under maintenance.. i think i died a good bit on friday due to pop up d/c on my end... yippeeee

Didnt die or play but nice form NC. Good looking out for the peoples
 Seems more time that goes by the more impressed I am with the changed NC and the new crew make. Good thing I didnt know about this otherwise I wouldve been going crazy-kamikaze mage!!

I hate to be the negative one here (Ok. No I don't.), but the more I think about this ... the more it kind of ticks me off.
The connectivity to the game has been brutal for two months now. People have suffered one lag and D/C death after another over that time. Now you are going to restore experience for people who died because they died on a specific day ... even if it was there own fault? That is a serious slap in the face to the paying customers who have stuck with you over the last several weeks death after death after death after death due to lag and disconnects. |

You REALLY don't understand how someone might be offended by this if they have died to lag or disconnect 8 times in the last six weeks with NO restoration and someone who died because they went AFK in ToI DOES get experience restored because of the day on which they chose to do something stupid?

None of that matters... So what if someone died stupidly this was something special that NC did and it's cool. Don't matter how someone died. I've lost much exp due to this d/c of late, and it doesn't bother me. If it bothers you then you need to take a chill pill. This was something NC did on a specific day due to very specific reasons and it was very cool. Kind of a mini event. And all you can do is gripe? I'm sorry but someone got up on wrong side of bed and needs to take chill pill. sheesh why are some people so uptight and think the world owes them something. No wonder we got stuck with such a ... as President. Too many think everyone owes them something for nothing and all they can do is gripe instead of actually working hard. Yes, I know it's hard work leveling I do it all the time and yes, I hate to die to something beyond my control, but I understand it happens on the internet and I don't expect someone to give me it back (though I'm always happy IF they do but I don't ask for it, I just get busy and make it back myself). This was unexpected and was very cool of NC so GET OVER IT YOU DON'T DESERVE SOMETHING FOR NOTHING!!!
Is that simple enough for you? understand the concept? I sure hope so I'm sick of endless whining... |
