Lore: The Music of Lineage

Back when we had Lineage Compendium, there was a page dedicated to the ingame music. By chance I had most informations saved, when the Compendium went down and did use them privately over the last years. Each time I saw a publish, I added the music to my iTunes Library.

I am planing to add the informations to the planed Lore Section of LinLib, if I can convince Coronis to stop playing Aion for a while. Until we have the new section, I am allowed to post the Lineage Music List here.

Music08 (Siege) - Who don't like this one
Music87 (Fishpond) - It is so... happy fishy. With he dripping water in the background it is very well done.
Music96 (Magician of the Sky) - Makes me almost quit my knight.
but above of all:
Music82 - The redo of the old Midi Song the early Version of Lineage was using.

My least favorite song is contrary to one of yours lol. I hate the fishy pond song and all the Gludio music. I see the emotions they want you to feel there but it's way to cheery for Lineage It's like all of Aden is super low key and melodramatic then you btele to Gludio and it's like a fake happy... maybe some merry go rounds and a few roller coasters then itll work

I dont know why but I like Diad Fortress. Maybe because it's so dramatic.

Hehe yes, I don't like new gludin to.

Gamemusic is good when you know for what its made, just by listening to the music.
Take the Fishpond for instance.
Even the Mac Client is unable to play the music, I knew instantly what that song is for.

Music is communication.

I know you don't like the happy style, but try music89.
One thing that jumps you first is the hectic percussion part. It carries the message that this is about something fast. The melody associates with some Mario Cart style of game for me. I didn't managed to find 5 people on PTS for the pet race, but I am very sure that this song belongs there.

I dont like Mario Card, but I need to admit that I never tried with friends. Guess I have to wait for Publish to try it.

Mario cart? Omg it is fun with other people! I have a huge family and I mean huge so we always play games like that, our Wii get's quite a work out lol. I think it's dying now though, it's making funny buzzing noises QQ

I'll take a listen later to the song you mentioned. Rich disconnected my speaker wire that connects to my monitor so he could hook up the laptop to the surround sound and high def tv... he wanted to watch Smallville -.-
My computer is dead silent right now lol... no music or anything, just typing keys, driving me crazy

Do a lot of people listen to the lineage music & sfx?

Since the beginning I've always had the volume muted and either play my own music in the background, or have the TV on to entertain me during those mindless click sessions.

Nothing gets me more amped than listening to Rage's Killing In The Name while taking down a Drake

Maybe there should be a planned "outage" for his Aion account only - just long enough to get him back into Lineage!!

OMG, thank you for listing this. I was actually naming these myself on my iPod playlist. Yeah, I have these on my iPod. It's actually nice to listen to on long road trips and airplane trips when I'm away from Lineage for a while. I'll probably listen to it while I'm at the beach tomorrow
